Privacy Policy

This policy describes our current website practices. It is provided for transparency and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before being treated as final legal advice.

DJ Omar Entertainment ("we," "us," or "our") operates djomar.org, including our marketing website and live song-request experience ("Vibe OS" at /vibe).

2. Information we collect
Marketing website
When you browse our public pages, we may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. Brand fonts are self-hosted on our servers. Embedded YouTube video and media galleries load only if you accept cookies (they may set third-party trackers). Our Cal.com booking widget is part of the core booking flow. If you accept optional cookies, we also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure traffic and performance.
Booking & contact
If you schedule a discovery call through our embedded Cal.com widget (after accepting optional cookies), Cal.com collects the information you submit in that form (such as name, email, and phone). You may also contact us directly by phone or email without using the widget.
Vibe OS (live events)
When you join a live event at /vibe, we collect:
- A display name you choose
- A random device identifier (
guest_id) stored in your browser - Song request details (artist, song title, optional link)
- Optional priority tip amount and payment proof image, if you choose to tip
Admin & DJ tools
Authorized users of /admin and /booth authenticate through Supabase Auth. We process account credentials and session cookies for those protected areas.
3. How we use information
- Operate and secure the website, Vibe OS, and DJ booth tools
- Display and manage live song requests during events
- Verify optional priority tips when guests upload proof
- Respond to booking inquiries and customer support
- Measure site performance and improve user experience (only with consent)
- Comply with law and protect against fraud or abuse
4. Third-party services
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, including:

Payment apps (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle) are third-party services. When you pay through those apps, their terms and privacy policies apply. We only receive proof images you voluntarily upload to verify optional tips.
5. Cookies & similar technologies
Essential cookies and technologies run the site as designed: guest sessions and Supabase for live song requests at /vibe (your name, queue, and request data), Supabase auth for DJ tools, self-hosted brand fonts, and the Cal.com booking calendar. These deliver core functionality and are not used for cross-site advertising.
Optional cookies / technologies (YouTube embeds, Vercel Analytics, and Speed Insights) load only if you click "Accept" on our cookie bar. If you choose "Essentials only," live song requests at /vibe still work via Supabase — hero video, media embeds, and analytics stay off until you accept.
Your choice is stored in your browser as djomar:cookie-consent:v1 (localStorage) and a djomar_consent cookie so we can remember your preference.
6. Data retention
- Vibe requests & guest names: Cleared when the DJ ends or resets the live session for that event.
- Tip proof images: Stored in Supabase storage until the session is reset or deleted by authorized staff.
- Analytics: Retained according to Vercel's analytics retention settings when enabled.
- Cal.com bookings: Retained per Cal.com's policies and our booking records.
7. California privacy rights (CPRA/CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, or similar advertising pixels on this site. Optional Vercel Analytics is used only for site measurement after you consent.
To exercise your rights, email Omar@djomar.org with the subject line "California Privacy Request" and describe your request. We will verify your identity before fulfilling it.
8. Children
Our services are intended for general audiences at live events and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we have done so inadvertently.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures through our hosting and database providers, including HTTPS, access controls on admin routes, and Supabase Row Level Security where configured. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
